Costin Berevoianu | Personal Adviser to the General Mayor of Bucharest

Mr. Berevoianu received his PhD in Engineering from the University of Bucharest in 1977 and Masters degree in Law from the Ecologica University in 2009. Before becoming the Personal Adviser to the General Mayor of Bucharest in 2008, he was the General Director of the General Public Company for Water from 1993 to 2000, Deputy General Director of Apa Nova Bucuresti from 2000 to 2001, General and Development Director of Veolia Apa Servicii from 2001 to 2008, all in Bucharest.

He was also General Director Gaz Sud and Grup Dezvoltare Retele from 2008 to 2011, Administrator at Berg Gaz System from 2011 to 2012, and he currently holds the position of Administrator at Excelon S.R.L. from 2011.

Apart from his work in local city administration as Personal Adviser to the General Mayor, he has participated in negotiations with the World Bank and EBRD regarding funding for infrastructure development projects, and many of their conferences, while also giving technical support regarding policy and strategy for water and sewerage services in the Danube region during negotiations in Austria.
