Jelena Bojović | NALED

As an expert in the field of regulatory reform and the implementation of local economic development policies, Mrs. Bojović has been working on reforming the legislative process and regulatory framework for doing business, attracting investments, programs for supporting the economy and establishing partnerships between the public and private sector for the past 14 years.

She began her career at the International Republican Institute working on the development of political parties, civil society organizations and local governments. After 5 years, Mrs. Bojović became the head of the Local Economic Development team in USAID's Support for Economic Development of Municipalities program. She has participated in the creation of more than 50 economic development strategies and the building of institutional capacity for economic management in more than 30 local governments, as well as similar programs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine, Slovakia, Kyrgyzstan and Jordan.

First as Program Director and later as Policy Director, she has been at NALED for the past 5 years. Mrs. Bojović has been working on analyses of effects of legislation, regulatory reform reccomendations and participated in the creation of acts and sub-legislations.
